Dementia Action Week encourages people to take action to improve the lives of those affected by dementia.  Maintaining good oral health for people living with dementia should be part of their overall care.

The Mouth Care Matters initiative works to raise awareness between the links of good oral health and overall general health.  Please join the Mouth Care Matters team and support Dementia Action Week.  It is important to begin to raise awareness and make changes that help those suffering with dementia both in large ways and small.  Everyone needs to feel they are included with a sense of dignity and well being.  Dementia Action Week is a positive initiative working to achieve this.
